O.K. Military Romance Fans, I am telling you to run not walk to your favorite bookstore and pickup a copy of “The Heart Beneath”.This book grabbed me emotionally from the git-go, with the lovebetween Morgan and Laura. Then there is the terrifying emotions Eileen brings to this story when the earthquake happens. Eileen, described the sounds and destruction so well I could picture it in my minds eye. The suffering of the people and of course Morgan who is searching for Laura. The main characters in this story are Wes and Callie and their romance. Callie believes thatshe isn’t anything special to look at, but Wes sees her beauty in her heart and goodness. Callie and her dog search the earthquake destroyed buildings to try and find survivors and the non-survivors. She finds Laura and risks her life to get her tosafety. This is an emotional read, the next book in the series “To Ride The Thunder” is a whopper. While at the store pickup this delicious story as well. It’s main characters are Rhona McGregor and Nolan Galway. Ladies I want one of Morgan, one of Wes and finally one of Nolan under my Christmas tree this year. Hope my husband won’t mind!
