Wonderful product. Just when I think my German Shepherd couldn’t possibly have 1 more hair to shed, the furminator shows me that I can still get enough fur off her to recreate another dog. It does have a cutting effect, but this is the best tool I have used in my 25 years of dealing with German Shepherd’s double coats. Where was this thing when I had 12 dogs at one time?? All I seem to do is groom them. Now it is easy(er)

I love my Kindle my Wife purchased for me, it is very easy to read
I was somewhat skeptical at first, however after sitting back and begining to read, it read easier then a standard book since the lighting never really shifts from one side of the page to the other.

The only thing i would say is when holding the kindle, the easiest way to hold it is at its center of balance point, the page buttons are not in the proper position for that, if they were raised up a couple of inches so when hold at the center, the thumb tips could turn the page.

I didn’t much care for the book if I could pinpoint one thing I had a problem with it has to be the fact that Holden Caulfield is a jerk and a somewhat comical figure really who deserved everything that happened to him.

This in and of itself does not make the book a bad book the annoying part is that this is one of those books that attracts a really snobbish fan base think Atlas Shrugged, Brave New World or Lord of the Flies only if you can believe it Catcher in the Rye fans make Aynn Rand fans look sane. To those people I say reading a book that someone else wrote and having a strong opinion about it does not in and of itself make you an intellectual. If Catcher in the Rye was you’re introduction to the world of literature I can respect that but there are better books to read once you have finished this one Catcher in the Rye is not the end of the road.

In “The Help”, the characters are two dimensional and stereotypical, and aspects of the plot are contrived. Nevertheless, we care about the characters. Because we do, this book is an effective portrayal for those who did not grow up in the 50’s and 60’s of just how far our socity has progressed. For those who are from that era, it is quite an effective and evocative reminder.
