Network Diagnostic Computer PC watch out
I have 3, and am buying a forth. I was shown these by a friend and given the fact that I’m going to have all of the cables I presently need, at a fraction of the cost of a single cable (even at Wal-Mart!) You really can’t find a much better deal.
They’re sturdy, heavy gauge, and overall well made. They shipped fast, and I have had zero issues with them thus far. I can’t recommend them enough, and will be buying more in the future as I develop the need. Rest assured, these are well worth every penny, and many, many more.
I swear by Monster for my music equipment. I will NEVER buy an HDMI cable of theirs so long as these are available.

The omron pedometer is the best I have used. It is accurate and does not count every jiggle. This is the second one I have bought. The first one lasted for several years.

Grammars Summer Institute Network must go on
I have really enjoyed the Nintendo Wii over the last year. While we go through stages on non-usage, I always seem to find my way back to it. This is a great system to play and enjoy with family and friends.
One of the greatest things about the Wii is that there is a very small learning curve. So not only can my Wife enjoy the Wii but so can my Mother! The Wii is a great system for casual gamers and will be a great system for years to come!

You know about Active Analysis Problems Network
This is my fifth (and hopefully last) pedometer in the past 6 months. I bought the cheap $5 or $10 ones in the store and they constantly reset, or worse, stopped working. I’ve dropped this one more than once and prayed that it was still working when I picked it up. And it has. I’m only dropping it because I refuse to attach the tether. At least it gave me the option. Others don’t even come with a leash. Love the different step counters. Pretty darn accurate and like that I can review the last week to see how I’m doing with my 10K a day. I would recommend this pedometer in a heartbeat.

Does Network Administration Open Source really work?
Open source is the wave of the future, and James Kretchmar’s “Open Source Network Administration” (OSNA) catches that wave in fine form. Although the book is only 238 pages, it contains several gems. I read the book specifically for its coverage of the Multi Router Traffic Grapher (MRTG), OSU’s Flow Tools, and Sysmon. By following Kretchmar’s instructions, I easily installed these three applications.
I was able to accomplish these tasks because OSNA is a “cross platform” book. The author doesn’t limit himself to discussing how to run the tool. He gives guidance on how to configure Cisco routers to export NetFlow records or enable SNMP reporting. Sometimes these simple steps are buried in Cisco’s Web site, so I appreciated getting straight to business. I literally had these tools running in a matter of minutes thanks to Kretchmar’s instructions and the FreeBSD package system (e.g. “pkg_add -r
On the down side I thought coverage of old stand-bys like tcpdump, traceroute, and netstat was unnecessary. I would have liked reading about more “niche” tools like MTR. If you like this book, keep an eye out for my “Tao of Network Security Monitoring” in the summer. I’ll take a similar approach in several chapters by discussing security-related network monitoring tools.

Set up was minimal and easy. After setting, I marked off a distance of .5 miles from my house (by car odometer), then walked it with this new pedometer. It was right on target! Now I know how far I’m walking during a round of golf and I can safely say “It is too excercise!”

ESSENTIALS SECURITY APPLICATIONS NETWORK run out
I had read the sample, wasn’t impressed. After reading many of the reviews I downloaded the book. Four months later finished the book and still wasn’t impressed. The conversational style of all the characters is just too dramatized, unrealistic and unauthentic. If you want to read about women characters of this time, try some Toni Morrison.
