It’s been a long time since I read a book that really made you feel so much empathy for the characters. A touching (sometimes heart wrenching) story. Great read.

This Hoover is a replacement for a larger Hoover vacuum that met it’s demise after 10 years. I love this one. It’s so light and easy to use. I’ve read complaints about the cord not being long enough. I don’t agree with that claim. The cord length is ample for the area I have. If you don’t have this model, BE AWARE,”if you don’t hold onto it as you turn it on, it will take off by itself, then vacuum your whole living room without you.” (Just kidding). It’s great,light, and easy to use. Oh yeah, and you can’t beat the price.

Everlasting Light

I will be honest, I got the iPod Touch for an organizer and not the mp3 player capabilities. I mainly use it to manage my schedule, email, facebook and internet. I recently switched over from using palms for over a decade and the iTouch far exceeds my expectations.
I Saw the Light

I was raised by black maids in Jackson, MS in the 60s. I wish I could reach across the years and hug them and ask them to forgive me for all the things this book shows.

The book is so well written that the imprints of my childhood underscore the realness of each page. If you have for one more though culture didn’t impact a generation, think again. Read this no matter where you were raised. Study it and repent (with me) if you were raised in Mississippi at such a time.

Light Plane Maintenance

I picked up a copy of Twilight ’cause all my friends were reading it and they said it was good. I found it to be extremely strange. I mean, what kind of boyfriend watches you sleep at night? If he’s supposed to be manly, he shouldn’t sparkle in the sun. The main character, Bella, is oddly flawless. Overall, the plot was just odd, and the author obviously has no idea how to write.

Some people may like Twilight, and that’s fine. But I suggest you pick up a copy at the library before you spend money on it.
