Focus on KitchenAid Handle Black Santoku

I think the Garmin Forerunner 305 has the potential to really help out a runner but i don’t thing the heart rate monitor is very accurate. I’ve done a manual count after a heavy workout and compared it to the garmin and the garmin is way off by as much as 20 to 30 beats. That bothers me that I’m not get accurate data. Sometimes the heart rate monitor won’t even pick up my hear beat, so I spend several minutes during a heavy work out adjusting the band to see if that helps. I wish it would also tell my how many calories I am burning even if I’m not outside working out. It’s functional but I wish is was a better device.

Why Cookie with KitchenAid Press

I wanted to make some cookies with my 3-year old that were tasty, pretty and easy, so I bought this press. I should start by saying that I do not know how to use a cookie press, nor am I very good at making cookies in general. I read all the reviews, and the only drawback to this one I could see was that it had no recipes — so I tried it.

That is only the drawback! I found a recipe online and tried out the press. Worked just fine, first try for the more simple designs (hearts, ribbons and butterflies). The amount comes out fine and the thing is easy to use.

The machine itself is nice. The built-in storage container for the discs is cool, and after 3 (maybe 4 batches) of cookies, everything is still working just fine. Clean up is simple.

I like it.

KitchenAid Gas 36in KGCK366VSS the best

I read many reviews on this before purchasing so here is my experience. I got the thing together, my 12-year old helped me, it wasn’t difficult but the directions were a little vague in places. After using it, there was no leakage, everything worked fine. They give you a small bottle of cleaning stuff which doesn’t last long. I purchased a large bottle at Walmart that was 2X the strength and used up to the first line in the measuring cup instead of the top line. I do understand the complaints concerning how many times you have to empty and refill, it is frequent (you have to dump about every 1-1/2 tanks of cleaning solution)BUT if it held more, it would weigh more and maybe too difficult for some to handle. Because of the size of tanks, it is easy to carry and dump the dirty tank and easy to carry the tank to refill with hot tap water and solution. I had no trouble operating it, pulling or pushing, self-propelled would have been a nice feature like my vacuum cleaner, but it was easily operated. I could not believe the filth that came out of my carpet! The carpet looks great, I feel so much cleaner! I cleaned in the mornings (it took me several, had lots of dirty carpet!) and by the evening it was pretty much dry except for the “spots” that took some extra attention. The suction on this thing is awesome! The smell was nice and even the nap of my 5-year old carpet was noticeably improved. I estimated that for the price, it paid for itself vs. what I would have had to pay Stanley Steamer so I had to give it a chance and I’m glad I did. The down side is that you have to move your own furniture!

Just got Side KSSC48QVS 48in KitchenAid

Bought this vacuum from Amazon for a WONDERFUL price just over 2 years ago after moving from an apartment to a town house. It was easy to assemble and worked great for 2 years until the belt that connects the beater bar (the bar that rotates with all the brushes on it) broke. After buying several of the belts recommended in the owners manual and having each and every one break after one or two uses … and in one case after about 15 seconds … this vac is headed for the trash.
Would I buy another one of these? Yes, but I would be much more vigilant in making sure the beater bar and surrounding areas stay free of clogs or large clumps of hair. Also, it isn’t like this was a $500 vacuum so I am not out a ton of money, and I certainly didn’t expect it to last forever. It just would have been nice to see it keep going for more than two years.

Say hi to KGSA Stand Mixer KitchenAid

I just got this vacuum, and it seems to work fine. However, the design is very flawed. I had a hoover vacuum prior to this which was purchased in 1996. It recently broke, which is why I bought this one. Two things that really, REALLY bug me:

1) The old vacuum had a storage compartment for the extension wand tools right below and in front of the top handle. There was a clear/see-through plastic lid which you had to lift to access the 3 tools. This new vacuum does not have this handy compartment-the tools are placed separately behind the vacuum in different places.

2) In the old hoover, the hose was stored on the RIGHT side of the vacuum. All you had to do was drape it over a piece of plastic on the right side and then stick it in its hole at the bottom. The wire was coiled in the back. In this new vacuum, the hose goes BEHIND the vacuum, RIGHT behind the wire. So you have this mess of coiled wire and a coiled hose (and don’t forget the tools)….what the…?!?! A very fatal design flaw, in my opinion. Really, hoover? REALLY? Come on, this is 2010, your 1996 product made much more sense in terms of design.

Even though the old vacuum had a 7.3-amp motor compared to the 12-amp one in this vacuum, it was still a powerful vacuum with great design. It lasted 14 years and helped me tremendously…God bless the “Hoover Dimension Limited” vacuum. This new vacuum has some pretty large shoes to fill, so to speak.

Hello Silicone Spatula KitchenAid Spoon

I don’t understand why anyone would pay 10 to 20 times more for an HDMI cable. This one is perfect!

Power KitchenAid Ultra Stand model

This machine does an excellent job cleaning. However I gave it 3 stars because the life span is less than 2 years. I’ve already gone through a couple of these machines including the one that broke yesterday when spin brush quits spinning. The same thing happened to my previous one. If they make this a lot more durable, I would have given it 5 stars.

Sick about Blender KitchenAid Hand KHB100

We purchased this blender thinking the quality would be higher than lower priced models. While it seems good to detach the blade for cleaning, who really cares? They are easy enough to clean, taking off the end is really just a nuisance. We immediately notices that the switch seemed poorly designed and somewhat difficult to use. It failed after a year of moderate use. Even under warranty, it costs more in shipping and handling than getting another one, so that’s what we’re doing. We had similar issues with a Kitchen Aid blender in the past. They seem solid, but have weaknesses in some small but critical part that kills them, seemingly by design. Then you have to decide if you want to go the trouble replacing the whole unit with another one that will fail early the same way. Why would you replace a poorly designed appliance with the same thing?
