I bought one for my daughter last year, then I bought one for me in June of this year (2010)
I love my kindle! I wish I waited til now and bought the new version, since I read that it has better contrast.
Mine is ok, but most of the time I have to use light close to it or clipped right on it in order to read it, but I think it was the best invention of the decade! talking about saving trees and having your library with you at any time! Thank you Amazon!

1,500 5 star reviews cant be wrong, but just to add to the common-sense, this sucker rocks. I have used it EVERY week for 2 years. It still works as good as when I bought it. This thing is loaded with U.S. Patents, and no wonder, I dont think you can get a comparable product from anyone. My carpet looks new every week, thanks Hoover! This is the real deal, buy buy buy, dont forget to clean it as they instruct and you will have years rugs that look like new.

I used for the first time and my hardwood floors were very dirty esp. in the high traffic areas- it did a fantastic job, the floors looked just like new when I was done. I could not believe all of the dirt and grime that came up on the pads. The assembly was super easy, less than 20 min and using the steamer was very straighforward and easy. I could tell when the floors were clean because the steamer easily glides across as opposed to having to use “elbow grease” to push the steamer across the boards when they were dirty. I would recommend easily to anyone who is on the fence with their decision or just deciding if they want to buy a cleaner. I will be tackling all of the tiled areas next along with mattress and some of the bedding using the attachment. I am very happy with the purchase

The Kindle is so easy to use and has such a clear screen I can read my favourite books anywhere. To buy and download is so user-friendly that I wish all gadgets were so easy to use. The battery life is amazing and the estimate they give is almost spot on. My Kindle lasted 4 weeks without a charge with daily use. I don’t live in the US and the wireless has not failed once. The only disappointment I can report is that zooming in on PDFs is quite clumsy. If only you could just increase the font size like the Kindle books.

Even with this one disappointment – I still love the product and am recommending it above all others that are sold here in Australia. Thanks Amazon for making my reading life even more enjoyable.

It is a very good product. It is a little bulky, but that is only because I used to have an iPod nano. The sound quality is good unless you turn it up to the very highest; then it is not so good. Altogether, I love it
