Why must Crystal heart
I got my Kindle a year and a half ago, as one of the best birthday presents I’ve received. I had wanted an ereader for years, and finally got the chance when my partner and friends chipped in for an Amazon gift certificate so I could buy one. I had been researching ereaders, and had four criteria:
One, that it would have a good selection of books available for purchase.
Two, that it would be compatible with a New York Times subscription.
Three, that it would be compatible with downloaded ebooks from the library.
And four, that there would be an app for Android phones.
At the time, there was no e-reader that met all of those criteria. The Sony Reader didn’t have as good a selection of books, and at the time, you couldn’t get a New York Times subscription on it. The Kindle isn’t compatible with library books. And none of the ereaders at the time had an app for Android phones. I chose the Kindle, because Amazon has the biggest ebookstore, and because it would let me get my newspaper on the reader, rather than having stacks of paper pile up.
I love the Kindle. I’m an avid reader, but I’ve got a couple of disabilities that were making holding books into a thoroughly miserable experience. Having an ereader meant that I could once again read for hours without having to give up because my hands hurt too much! It’s a delight.
But, as an avid reader, I was starting to realize that the cost of buying books (often re-buying books that I already owned in physical book form) was getting out of hand. I needed a way to make use of the free new books I could download from the library. (I believe in copyrights, and so I choose not to get bootleg copies of books.) So, as much as I love my Kindle, I finally decided that I needed a nook. It took me months to convince my partner that there was a good reason to have *both* a Kindle and a nook. I finally offered to quit smoking, and use the money I saved by doing that to buy the nook. (Yes. I gave up smoking just so I could have a s

Take care of the Raincoast of Heart
As the title says, I am very disappointed with Amazon.com. I routinely shop with confidence at amazon.com knowing that I can trust them to deliver what I order. This was not the case with this purchase.
My daughter recently entered a post graduate editing program at UW and required Microsoft Word, so I bought her Microsoft Office Home & Student 2007 via Amazon.com. The product was advertised as a CD-ROM version of the software, however, that is not what I received. A few days later, I received a FedEx envelope from Ruckus Enterprises. The envelope contained a sheet of paper with download instructions for Microsoft Office and a 25-digit Product Code (license). I was disappointed and confused about not receiving the packaged software, but time was of the essence and my daughter needed to edit papers in Word. So, I forwarded her the information and asked her to download, install, and activate the product according to the instructions on the sheet.
Immediate;y there were problems with activation. The product would not activate over the Internet and she had to call Microsoft directly. The product would still not activate and she was allowed 15 uses of the product before it became permanently unusable. To help her out, I made a housecall to see what I could do with the software. I uninstalled and re-installed the software twice and attempted activation three times. All attempts failed and then I noticed something odd–the product’s title on hte header bar said, “Microsoft Word Non-cmmercial version.” The Microsft activation representative said that we may be victims of software piracy and the we should contact the vendor for resolution. I could not find any contact information for ruckus Enterprises, so I contacted Amazon.com directly.
Amazon was nice, but simply directed me to email Ruckus Enterprises and then wait up to three days for an answer. It is now day two and no reply from Ruckus Enterprises. I will give them one more day as instructed by Amaz

At Heart Cowgirl The crazy
Elyse McCord is a painfully shy dog trainer who finds a dog that has been horribly mistreated. In an effort to rescue him, she is threatened at gun point by the dog owner’s ex-con of a brother. To her rescue comes Andrew Stone who just so happens to be staking out the con he suspects killed his wife three years ago. In the fight, the attacker flees leaving Elyse in danger and in need of a protector that Adam, with alterior motives, is willing to be. As the weeks go by, mutal attraction leads to stronger feelings and they both realize that they have to learn how to trust each other with their secrets to be able to have the love that they desire.
I won this book on Goodreads Firs Reads giveaway and I’m glad that I did. Otherwise I never would have given it a chance. I’m not a Christian myself and have found, in the past, that Christian Fiction/Romance books come across as corny and preachy. The characters always find a happily ever after and the author tends to send a message that you will too as long as you take Jesus in your heart. This book was refreshingly different. Andrew and Elyse were not sickenly perfect and I believe that, if they were real, I could be their friend and not feel that they would judge me or make it their mission to convert me. With that being said, this book was very well written and the story kept me interested from the very beginning. I loved how Elyse’s sister Crystal and her fiancee were shown to be having serious problems during this book when I’m assuming their story has been told in the first book of the series. Most…ok, probably all of the serial romance books I read, once the book is done, the couple remains “happily ever after” in every other book after it. Which I always thought was a good thing, but after reading “Cowgirl at Heart”, found that it just isn’t real. In real life, the stories continue and the road is always rocky. I look forward to reading Crystal and Jeremy’s book and all the others that come from Ms. Lynxwil

Heart Beneath Special The and you
O.K. Military Romance Fans, I am telling you to run not walk to your favorite bookstore and pickup a copy of “The Heart Beneath”.This book grabbed me emotionally from the git-go, with the lovebetween Morgan and Laura. Then there is the terrifying emotions Eileen brings to this story when the earthquake happens. Eileen, described the sounds and destruction so well I could picture it in my minds eye. The suffering of the people and of course Morgan who is searching for Laura. The main characters in this story are Wes and Callie and their romance. Callie believes thatshe isn’t anything special to look at, but Wes sees her beauty in her heart and goodness. Callie and her dog search the earthquake destroyed buildings to try and find survivors and the non-survivors. She finds Laura and risks her life to get her tosafety. This is an emotional read, the next book in the series “To Ride The Thunder” is a whopper. While at the store pickup this delicious story as well. It’s main characters are Rhona McGregor and Nolan Galway. Ladies I want one of Morgan, one of Wes and finally one of Nolan under my Christmas tree this year. Hope my husband won’t mind! Don’t miss any of this series or for that matter the Morgan Mercernaries series either. Happy Reading!!!

About Shadows Heart Of The
So far so good. I have it in my police car and since that goes faster than most cars, I can honestly say it doesn’t move off of the dash…so I’m much happier with it than the suction cup that came with the GPS and constantly falls off the window and it really is a pain when you are responding to calls and that happens.

Think of Full Heart Empty Nest ?
This is a great book, one which I plan to purchase for my sisters as their kids get to be seniors in high school. I’ve read it three times and always get something else from it. Even though my 2 boys are totally different in personality this book addresses passages they have both had. It also addresses the pain parents may experience as their young adults go off to their new lives and how it is to have them briefly return for vacations and summer. I felt as if a friend were comforting me as I went through this exciting yet difficult time.

Poetry Heart Aroused The and me
I originally read The Heart Aroused in its first edition (published in 1994), and when I decided to buy a copy, I was delighted to find that it was revised in 2002. Exploration and revelation of our most authentic selves is certainly risky in the traditional workplace. But in the end, this post is less about the risks of disclosure and more about the broader subject of the soul at work.
Whyte helps us reconcile the world of work, or doing, with the soul, or being. He characterizes this divide as “a veritable San Andreas Fault in the American psyche: the personality’s wish to have power over experience, to control all events and consequences, and the soul’s wish to have power through experience, no matter what that may be.” Whyte cautions that “with little understanding of the essential link between the soul life and the creative gifts of their employees, hardheaded businesses listening so carefully to their hardheaded consultants may go the way of the incredibly hardheaded dinosaurs.” He holds that when we do not feel belonging, “no attempt to coerce enthusiasm or imagination from us can be sustained for long.” I believe this book should be required reading for all managers and students of business management.
The title of this work comes from the famous William Carlos Williams poem “Asphodel, That Greeny Flower,” which poignantly reminds us that “It is difficult/to get the news from poems/yet men die miserably every day/for lack/of what is found there.” Using poetry, psychology and myth, Whyte encourages us to face our fears and claim our authentic soul power in the world of work.
