Like a dog on a leash this vacuum is raring to go and I have to step lively to keep up with it! My carpets are indoor-outdoor so I set the height for bare floors. The Tempo picks up cat hairs with great enthusiasm, and as another reviewer noted, the air leaving the vacuum is sweet smelling with no dust. The cord is nice and long. At this price the Tempo is a real bargain and I am very pleased with my purchase! The smaller sized vacuum cleaners (and I’ve tried several)cannot do the job and clog and break down easily. The Tempo is a full sized vacuum with ample power to clean my carpets nicely.

This Hoover is a replacement for a larger Hoover vacuum that met it’s demise after 10 years. I love this one. It’s so light and easy to use. I’ve read complaints about the cord not being long enough. I don’t agree with that claim. The cord length is ample for the area I have. If you don’t have this model, BE AWARE,”if you don’t hold onto it as you turn it on, it will take off by itself, then vacuum your whole living room without you.” (Just kidding). It’s great,light, and easy to use. Oh yeah, and you can’t beat the price.

THIS VAC’S PERFORMANCE IS AWSOME! BEEN RESEARCHING VACCUMS FOR A WHILE. & DO LOVE AND APPRECIATE MY DOWN-TIME OR MY TIME. SO NEEDED SOMETHING THAT WORKED (picked up first pass – hair, paper shavings, grass etc.). THEN I HAVE BAD ALLERGIES? SO CLEAN AIR A MUST! garry SAID THEY HAD THE BEST & LIGHTEST VACCUM. DON’T BELIEVE IT! BUT DO USE OR GO TO CONSUMER REPORTS AND SEE THAT THIS VAC GOT RAVE REVIEWS FOR CARPET CLEANING IN A STAND UP CONTEST VERSES OTHER SIMILAR BRANDS COSTING HUNDREDS MORE! I’D GIVEN IT A 5. BUT AS RUSS POINTED OUT, NO BAG INDICATOR OR LIGHT. “WHATEVER!” THEY DIDN’T MESS WITH IT’S PERFORMANC!

Water for Elephants is a quick read that carries you through many experiences and emotions. I enjoyed most of the characters (human and animal). It was thrilling, sad, sexy and hearbreaking at times, but in the end you won’t regret reading it! You’ll get the added bonus of reading historical fiction too. Very good read, highly recommended.
