I have two dogs, and let’s face it, dogs have accidents, and they don’t wipe their feet when they come in the house. And though I have hardwood floors for that reason, I do have rugs on them. I have been thinking about buying a steam vac for a while now, and finally took the plunge with this one. The price was right and with Prime, 2-day shipping was free! (Yay! I love Prime! Amazon should pay me I promote it all the time.) Getting the vac out of the box and putting it together was a little bit of a pain in the rear, but once it was put together, it was very easy to use. I took other reviewers’ suggestions and pre-boiled the water for the “clean” tank. I was able to do a thorough cleaning of one 9′x12′ rug and an 8′x10′ rug using less than one tank of clean solution (some left over when I was done) and only dumping the “dirty” tank once at the end. Even though my rugs are only about 6 months old, I was shocked to see how dirty and gross the water was that came out of them! Everyone who hasn’t cleaned their rugs in a while should think about doing it soon. Now that I have this steam vac, I plan to clean my rugs every month or so to keep them looking and smelling great. I used to have a small Bissell but it was a huge pain to use (required constant refilling and emptying of tanks) and all the attachments were all over the place, hence, it never got used and eventually went to Goodwill. I love how this vac has a place to store all the attachments ON the vac.

Having grown up in Louisiana in the 60’s, this book brought back memories. I thought it was wonderful, it certainly brought back memories of ‘the help’ that worked for our family. I want my mother to read this book and then I’d love to talk to her about it – were things that way when we lived in Shreveport? I don’t think her friends talked and treated their maids that way, but I can’t know for sure and the biggest question is, will my mother talk to me about this? I think so, and I hope so. The book touched my heart,can’t wait for the next one by Ms. Stockett. Bravo!

For obvious reasons, Michael Isikoff wants to dot every i, cross every t, and review every interview and review the reviewer and review the sources the reviewer used. I thought that this would be a book to straighten out a complicated history; instead, it is a meticulously organized and documented prosecutor’s case worthy of being taken to any judge and any jury as it stands. In spite of being far more detail than I wanted, making obscure the proverbial forest with infinite trees, this was much less tedious as an audiobook than I suspect it would be as a read. It well served my original purpose, if I took it a CD at a time. (There are 15 CDs.)

The Furminator removed so much hair from our short-haired mixed breed I couldn’t believe it. We looked JUST like the picture on the product package when we got done. So pleased all that hair won’t be in my house.

Our dog likes to be brushed, so she loved it, but our old dog, who hated brushes would never have stood for it. If you dog doesn’t like the pin type brushes, they won’t enjoy this either.

This has got to be the best pet product I’ve bought ever and I highly recommend it!

I’ve read this book a few times in my life, roughly every decade since high school. Each time I find new or different meaning in Holden’s struggles. It’s too easy for us to say, “snap out of it!” as some suggest; but I think that really turns a blind eye to the real internal struggles that many teens have today. Moreover, how we deal with “phonies” is a debate that many of us have well into our adult life. This book still hits a cord for me.

A wonderful novel that deftly takes the reader from a spirited old man’s hospital room to Circus trains and back again. Based in part on a menage of historic events, Water For Elephants is full of adventure and fantasy. I really enjoyed it.

I was having a bad day at work and I came home and my dvd, The Gospel According to Jazz Chapter 2 was waiting for me. Like any other, I brought home work that I needed to complete before the next day. After I finished my work, I put my dvd in. I was on such a high after watching The Gospel According to Jazz, Chapter 2. I was ready for the rest of the week. I am so thankful of Kirk Whalum who a Christian brother and willing to listen to God.
